Planted Seeds 3-17-10 Wednesday

Today I planted all of my tomato seeds listed below. I also planted green and yellow zucchini, English Cucumbers, Asian eggplants, jalapenos, some more spinach, black seeded Simpson lettuce, red and green Romaine lettuce and some sunflowers.

New Used Pots

Upon the recommendation of my buddy Kyle, whose blog can be found if you look in my profile, I went to a nursery and bought some used pots for really cheap. I ended up getting two 25 gallons, two 20 gallons, two 15 gallons, two 7 gallons, a 5 gallon and a tray for $15.50.

Now my tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and zucchini will have enough room for their roots to grow.

You can scroll down to see these trees when I first got them. Now that spring is right around the corner they have sprouted some leaves.

This is my 5-in-1 Apple Tree.



It already has a few tiny apples. I believe the Einshimer is on the right and Anna is on the left.

My Deck Top Garden

This is my deck top garden starting from one corner and panning around to the right. Its winter right now so a lot of the leaves have fallen off the trees.











My raised lettuce bed. I just pulled out a lot of them and planted new seeds.



What you see is spinach to the left and Chinese cabbage to the right. I just planted Bok Choi seeds to the far left and Romaine and Simpson lettuce in the space in the center.

5-in1 Asian Pear Tree

This is my Asian pear cocktail tree I got yesterday that consists of Hosui, 20th Century, Shinseiki, Chojuro & Bartlett (which is a European pear).

5-in-1 Cherry Tree

This is my cherry cocktail tree I got yesterday. It consists of Bing, Stella, Lapin, Royal Ann and Montmorency cherry.

5-in-1 Apple Tree

This is an apple cocktail tree I bought yesterday. It consists of Fuji, Anna, Dorsett Golden, Beverly Hills and Einshimer apple.
